J.J. McGraw’s first full-length novel, "Initial Kill", grew out of her thirty years of experience as a public servant in a small Southern town, not unlike Larsen, the setting for her story. Following in her late father’s footsteps, she became a Firefighter and continued on to become a Paramedic. Later on, she moved forwards still, to become a Detention Officer, until her final destination of 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator. In "Initial Kill", the situations are believable and the dialog emulates the language of law enforcement and rescue personnel.
Ricki Wilson, creator of INDIE SPOTLIGHT and author of MAGGIE'S FALL, is an independent author and professional educator from Oklahoma.
Growing up among genuine cowboys, Ricki learned at an early age to appreciate the true value of a good horse and a faithful dog. Maggie's Fall, Wilson's first novel, is a tribute to both.
If you like what you see on INDIE SPOTLIGHT and would like to help support the effort, please consider picking up a copy of Maggie's Fall for yourself or a fellow reader. Many thanks!
